This Wednesday, May 8th, from 5pm to 8pm in the gym at First Baptist Church in Newcastle, OK (1650 N. Main St.) there will be an opportunity for people to come and have their DNA entered into the National Marrow Donor Program. It is looking as though Trey might need to have another bone marrow transplant and we are wanting to try to help find an unrelated match. All this first test is, is a mouth swab. No blood will be drawn on May 8th. It’s simple, it’s quick, and it will put you in a position to be a tremendous help. Please help spread the word to as many people as possible, and let’s get as many people there on May 8th that we can. The only stipulation is that you must be between the ages of 18 to 44 for this particular test. Thank you in advance for your help. How awesome would it be to find a match for Trey this way? Come and make a difference!

I hate leaving this guy, but I do need a break and I’m ready to love on my other kids! My heart is with Trey and Emily always…I’m so praying his liver enzymes are down tomorrow! PLEASE LORD!!!

Social media is a great thing, but it is also limiting. Not everyone has Facebook or Twitter or wants to log into places like Caring Bridge…so, I’ve decided to start a blog that I think will be very helpful to help spread the word about Trey’s situation, as well as allow me opportunity to share devotional thoughts and things God is teaching me.

I will continue to post to the Pray for Trey Freeman event page on Facebook, as well as my personal Facebook page, along with the Caringbridge site…but for those who want a simple way to access information, I’m hoping this blog will help. I will also be able to post more things here like videos, articles, etc. I think it will be a great thing.
